A flat tire

Have you ever doubted God’s provision for you? I know I have and sometime we need to sit back and really look at the things in our lives that He has done for us. When we live in Moapa,Nv which was an hour north of Las Vegas; we lived on an Indian reservation.the Moapa band of Paiutes. We were headed down to Las Vegas to a midwife’s appointment; I was pregnant with number 5 which was Hannah( she is now 17) when our car got a flat tire. So of course we pulled over, now we had four kids already and it was Joe and I. So Joe was going to change the tire when we realized the spare was flat! Yep why does that always happen? Because we never check the spare! So we are standing besides the side of the road; picture this one man, one very pregnant woman and 4 kids running around. Great or scary sight! When this pick up truck pulls over, there is a Hispanic gentleman driving and he has his wife and mother in law in the cab with him. He offers to help, we told him our spare was also flat, so he wants to give us a ride! Well the only place for all six of us was in the back of the pick up! Now I’m from Texas so  no big deal! But that is not what happened. This man had Joe and the kids along with his wife get into the back of the pick up and he wanted me to sit in the cab, because I was greatly with child! I really couldn’t believe him or his wife would be willing to give up their seat for a stranger, but they did. Now who of us would consider doing that for a stranger? I tell you all this to show you when we don’t expect it or even see it at the time God is always looking after His children. he says in His word:  Matthew 10:29-31
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
This is our God, something we wouldn’t think He would be concerned with he is.
Let us take the time to see what He is doing in our lives, even if it’s a simple like sending a beautiful sunrise to enjoy! Praise Him that He is God and love us. As for the rest of the story he dropped us off at the midwives place and Joe called a friend in Las Vegas who came and helped him get the tire fixed! So all was well!
